Our Gas Leakage Detection Alarm Kit is designed to provide a reliable and efficient way to detect gas leaks in homes, industries, and laboratories. It is equipped with an MQ6 gas sensor, which detects LPG and CNG gas leaks and triggers an alarm to ensure safety. The sensor’s sensitivity is calibrated using 2.2K & 1K resistors for precise detection.

The working principle is simple: when gas is present, the sensor converts the heat from gas combustion into an electrical signal. This signal is processed by an LM324 op-amp comparator circuit, which compares it with a preset reference voltage (adjusted using a 10K preset). If the sensor’s voltage is higher than the reference, it indicates a gas leak, activating the buzzer and red LED. If no gas is detected, the output remains low, and the alarm stays off.

This kit is ideal for preventing hazardous situations by offering a quick response to gas leaks. It is easy to use and perfect for educational projects, DIY safety systems, and practical applications where gas detection is crucial.
