Description
Enhance security with the DIY ATM Machine Security System Kit from KitsGuru. This customizable security system can be used in ATMs, homes, or any restricted areas. If someone forcefully opens the door or moves the ATM from its position, an alarm will be triggered to deter unauthorized access.
The system operates using a reed switch, which consists of two magnetic parts. When these parts remain in contact, the circuit is closed, ensuring normal operation. However, if the ATM is tampered with or moved, the connection breaks, acting as a trigger for the audio amplifier to activate the alarm.
This ATM Security Alarm System features two connectors—one for the reed switch input (installed on the ATM door) and another for the output to an 8-ohm speaker. The reed switch link ensures that the UM3561 IC (a multi-tone siren generator) remains inactive under normal conditions. However, if the loop is broken, the tone generator is enabled, producing a loud siren to alert authorities.
